Look, America has a Georgia too, but the Georgia under Russia has food that is so inexplicably delectable. Never once did I think I would tell my gf, "if that lamb wanted to abuse me... I'd take it with pleasure." This Georgian Chef is THE chef. Despite me not being able to pronounce a single item on the menu, I was served a dish with the "chef's special sauce." Now, I am not one to get excited, but I WANTED that chef's special sauce. A lil tangy, a lil sweet, a lil salty. I don't know what that man eats or drinks, but I must say, his special sauce is VERY special (get your head out of the gutter). The pickled platter was really refreshing and pickly- I infact tickled the pickle with my palate and I totally recommend ordering it... it's really amazing. The cream soda... don't get me started... it tastes like a Georgia grandma made homemade whipped cream and hand fed it to you while you sipped on lemonade while sitting on her lap, getting it all over your lips and into your drink- order 10 of them, you won't be disappointed. I have 0 complaints except that I eventually had to leave the restaurant. I really recommend it and everything tastes even better if you have a beautiful girlfriend with you. Go to Georgian Chef, just make sure you don't end up in the American Georgia or the one under Russia, you might get drafted to the front lines (not being politically, just realistic).

I have not been to the restaurant but I ordered the take out. The food was fantastic and a little different. But any food that's cooked with love, fresh ingredients and someone who knows what they're doing is always amazing. I never had Georgian food before but I will again.

After choosing this delightful restaurant, I rate the Georgian Chef a ten/ten. There quality of food, and ingredients, are incredible. There service is kind, and polite. The choice of music matched the decor of the Georgian Chef swimmingly. The ambiance in general, is warm comfortable, and inviting. I recommend, that anyone who wants a wonderful, and even new experience to try, this restaurant. I certainly will want to be coming back here.

Delicious addition to the NJ food scene. The Adjaruli khachapuri is *chef's kiss*. It's like diving into a pool of melted, buttery, eggy cheese, surrounded by tender, fluffy yogurt bread. Bonus points for having a bacon option. The restaurant is decorated prettily, and is modern and spacious. The service is friendly and quick. Definitely worth stopping in!

First time trying Georgian food. We tried Adjaruli Khachapuri, Eggplant Rolls, Megruli Khachapuri, Khinkali Lamb and Lobito in clay pot. We enjoyed everything we tried. Cute smaller sized venue. We didn't have reservations but were seated pretty quick (3 in our party). Service was great. Tried the Georgian pear lemonade, a bit on the sweet side for me, but still tasty.

The ambiance in this place is romantic and quiet. What i like most about this place is the freshness and uniqueness of the cuisine. If you enjoy bread , cheese , and meat, this is a must ! Every bite is as delicious as the next with quality ingredients. I ordered lamb stew and a cheese boat to share with my dinner companion. The combination is something out of this world amazing. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. This restaurant is a quality over quantity. The plate sizes are not huge but you will be full by the time you leave..make sure you try the dumplings..amazing service as well.. I HIGHLY recommend !!!

What a terrific find in Howell - meat centric, but absolutely delicious! The space is relatively small and tastefully decorated. This is a word of mouth place at this point and they need to get their name out there! Once again, our unofficial Yelp group decended upon a restaurant to enjoy our company, good wine and great food. the menu is extensive and our waitperson was happy to point us in the right direction. We started with a Georgian Salad with Walnuts that was incedible! Additionaly, we added Eggplant Rolls, chicken Mtsvadi, Pkhali Trio and Georgian Bread. What a way to start a meal! Entrees - Lamd Mtsvadi, Khinkali Lamb Tarragon, Khinkali Pork and Beef, Baked Trout and Veal Chakafuli (my entreeand I will go back for it again). Portions were large and the flavors were overwhelming. Definitely will be on our bucket list for a return visit.

The service, food, fragrant spices and quiet vibe of the #GeorgianChef are all amazing. This family run, very authentic restaurant is a gem. The chicken liver dish is scrumptious! The spices along with the care taken to create this lovely entree are impeccable. The liver is served in a traditional clay pot, they're very tender and fragrant. If you're looking for a great meal that's reasonably priced, this is the place! Every dish is authentic and the desserts should not be overlooked. BYOB
